Early in the planning of his debut performance, Cornelius Versa made the decision to not only record an EP but to also film the entire recording session in front of a live audience. Growing up, he was inspired by the timeless allure of classic rock, the twangy embrace of country, soul-lifting Motown melodies, and the epic power ballads of the 90s. Versa’s ‘Live at Furaha Sound’ EP, named after the studio in which it was recorded, pays tribute to these musical influences. The set features five songs that shaped Cornelius as an artist and sets the stage for what’s to come in his career.
