We are Stephen & David St. Russell, a husband-husband design and DIY team with a passion for a good project.

In 2017, after fixing up a couple homes together, we happened upon a completely gutted 1893 Boston Victorian and it was love at first sight.

For the past 5+ years we have been transforming our home room-by-room and sharing that process on Instagram and here on the blog.

We’re team cottage garden, how about you?! While we will always have some grass, we have been gradually reducing our lawns footprint in exchange for landscaping. The flower beds add interest, create habitat, and decrease maintenance. Mostly, we just love doing it. This year, we plan to tackle even more!
